Introduction:

Entrusting someone to care for your child is a huge undertaking as a parent.Realizing this as a parent myself, I strive to provide a safe, warm and nurturing daycare environment, one in which your child can grow and learn.

About me:

I am the mother of three grown children, 32 yrs, 29yrs, and 26 yrs old. My husband Pete and I have been together for 30 years. We enjoy many activites together,dancing, swimming, gardening, nature walks, painting and photography. I'm a firm believer in lots of fresh air for children!

I love to read, both with the daycare children, as well as for my own enjoyment.I enjoy painting, doing puzzles and yoga. I also enjoy using the internet to search for new ideas for our daycare.

Qualifications:

I have been a home daycare provider since August 1999. My home has been safety and fire inspected, and references are available to parents upon request.

I pride myself on being a consistant and reliable care giver.For any personal holidays or the rare day off I may require, I ensure parents are given plenty of notice so they may make alternate arrangments for care.

The children I've had in care over the past years tend to be here long term,leaving care only when care is no longer needed (parents move, job changes, or graduate from care to school full time). I'm able to provide references on request from both current and past families in care.Although I run my daycare in a completely professional manner (and follow new ministry ratios), the children (and their parents) become an integral part of our family.
